HealthPlan Compass is an independent educational project. We explain common health coverage concepts and link to the official documents needed to verify an individual situation.

What we publish

Plain-language guides to benefits, costs, provider networks and enrollment. Key topics are available in English and Spanish, with links between corresponding pages.

Our source standard

We start with HealthCare.gov, CMS, official exchange materials and Puerto Rico health-program resources. Review dates and source links appear on factual guides so readers can check current rules.

What we are not

• Not an insurer, broker, lead generator or application service.
• Not affiliated with Plan Vital, a government agency or any health plan.
• Not a source of individualized medical, legal or financial advice.

Corrections and updates

Rules, dates and plan details change. We review pages periodically and update material inaccuracies. This site does not currently operate a public contact form or claim a monitored correction inbox.

Independence

No insurance products are sold through the site. If a future commercial relationship is introduced, the editorial and disclosure policy should be updated before it goes live.
